Rules for surviving the end of oil
The end of oil is coming, no one is doubting that, not even the most optimistic among us. When is it here? It is an entirety different question, which will not be discussed here. What does the end of oil mean? well it means when the price of oil goes below what it costs to produce oil, no one will bother to extract it. resulting in the end of oil as we know it.
What could be the result of this shortage of oil? well catastrophic, because our modern way of life is based on oil or at least cheap oil. Consider what oil produces; all plastics, all reliable transportation sea/truck/train/air/car and so many other things we cant imagine us be with out. Just think of plastics, where in our daily lives dont we see it?
That is why I have come up with a few rules to survive after the oil has dyed up, think of the movie "Zombiland". All of a sudden there is no oil, no transportation, no food from around the world, no electricity (unless you live in a country like Denmark, where wind farms are abundant, but no equals no plastics, so in time no one will be able to produce electricity), no travel (no more then what your feet or a horse can carry you), wars for resources and so many other things we as a species have to without.
Each week I will post a new rule, so stay tuned if you want to survive the end of oil.
Rule number one; what is the most important thing to survive? FOOD! get a your hands on a farm or minimum get a vegetable garden, to grow your own foods on.
It is possible to produce food almost no mater where one lives, even in an apartment.
If you somehow get a surpluse it is will be possible to trade food for something else you may need.
